Vinyl: EX+ Play Graded. Sounds Excellent! It's in amazing shape and sounds terrific considering it's an over 50 year-old flimsy flex-disc! It has a very small "dimple" on the lead-in groove that requires only that you be mindful to cue the record up so it doesn't land on the dimple(and I'm not sire there would be a problem if you landed on the dimple, because it was easy enough for me to avoid it when I play graded it...) It has some light snap, crackle and pop that is in the background and never overpowers the overall sound. Lyntone Label is Clean and Bright. This is the Super RARE 1966 Lyntone Original U.K. 1ST PRESSING entitled: Pantomime. Everywhere It's Christmas. LYN 1145. Issued December, 1966 by The Beatles' Fan Club in the UK, these were made exclusively for the fan club members and as such, they are extremely rare! A most enjoyable message of spontaneous Christmastime lunacy from the lads where they hilariously (and sublimely) visit various random places in the world where we get a fly-on-the-wall view of various characters doing their thing...humanity during Christmastime, if you were pressed to explain it. It's one of The Beatles' most memorable and best-scripted forays into the surreal world of improv and humor. Personal fave raves: Podgy The Bear and Jasper, A Rare Cheese and the song at the end of Felpin Mansions: Don't Bring Your Banjo Back...Plays on only one side. The "B-side" has nothing recorded on it.
In the Dead Wax: LYN 1145-2C (stampers)
SLEEVE: VG++ (see photos; no seam splits, no stickers, no creases; has a few age spots and a light color stain on the top of the rear cover, none of which obscure any of the graphics; name written very lightly and small on the top left corner of rear cover) Original 1ST PRESSING in great condition! The sleeve is printed and made in Great Britain.
Goldmine Standards. I play grade every record that I sell on eBay as I have found you can't rate a record accurately by just visually inspecting it. I wipe the dust off of every cover with clean, unscented baby wipes. I professionally clean the vinyl. (I also operate a Vinyl Record Cleaning business for your dusty/dirty records--if interested, send me a message).

First or early pressings nearly always have more immediacy, presence and dynamics. The sound staging is wider. Subtle instrument nuances are better placed with more spacious textures. Balances are firmer in the bottom end with a far-tighter bass. Upper-mid ranges shine without harshness, and the overall depth is more immersive. Inner details are clearer.
On first and early pressings, the music tends to sound more ‘alive’ and vibrant. The physics of sound energy is hard to clarify and write about from a listening perspective, but the best we can describe it is to say that you can 'hear' what the mixing and mastering engineers wanted you to hear when they first recorded the music.
