This offering presents Robert Shaw, the founder and director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, who along with the Atlanta Symphony was awarded first prize by ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) for service to contemporary music. This offering also gives honor to Igor Fedorovich Stravinsky who was commissioned and entrusted with the choreography of the music for The Firebird and Her Dance.
