These Record Club editions are sought after in most popular titles because (really for two reasons) they are of a much more limited quantity and in order to press them for the RCA or BMG music club they have to be engineered first by a qualified engineer to enable the pressing. Many engineers are famous (Bob Ludwig or Bernie Grundman for example)  most are not , but they are all highly specified talented engineers. Though sourced from the exact same sealed MASTER TAPE , certain nuances may exist in a record club editions. The sax may be more defined or guttural sounding , or the seperation and soundstage may be more dynamic , but basically it's the same exact Lp with a more limited version of the Engineering step since fewer copies were pressed. This often has the effect of putting you "several seats closer" to the original performance, again since it was a relatively limited run. The differences typicly are nuance , not night and day. But is these differences that make record club releases such as Sticky Fingers or Meet The Beatles sell for 3 to 4 times as much as their contemporary counterparts pressed at the same time. The differences are tangible , but don't always effect value to the same extent for each and every artist.   I have several of these record club editions in my personal collection from about 2 years ago when a gentleman passed away and one of my favorite record store owners got in an entire collection of classic rock record store editions. I bought several , and just kept going back for more cause they all sounded great!   Original embossed gatefold cover (I did not realize before that the rocks in the foreground, Stevie Wonder & the black disc are all embossed). Cover sealed and in very nice condition. VINYL: Mint GATEFOLD COVER: NM & sealed (about a 9 or  9.5 out of possible 10) almost 40 years later. slight corner wear from shelving. Priced to sell! Enjoy!
