Pianist, composer and arranger Keitaro Miho has had a big influence on jazz in his native Japan, but also on the wider music world in the East. As well as making music he has worked as a film director, actor, writer and even a racing driver and brings that broad background of interests to everything he does. This album finds him using plenty of traditional Japanese musical instruments as well electric musical tools as he fuses jazz and ancient Japanese music with contemporary rock and plenty of mad psychedelic moments. It's ambitious and forward-thinking and features musicians such as Masahiko Sato, Minoru Muraoka and Akira Ishikawa.
