PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Beatles - abbey road record - 1st press MISALIGNED APPLE No Her Majesty

Complete & original 1st UK press of The Beatles 1969 album ‘Abbey Road’. Released on the 26th September 1969, the 1st pressing had a -2/-1 matrix, the final track 'Her Majesty' omitted from the label, and an incorrectly printed sleeve with the Apple logo on the rear famously out of alignment with the copy text.   
Serial number: PCS 7088
Matrix number: YEX 749-2, YEX 750-1

Record has been tested and plays well on both sides with no skips or jumps. The record visually is well played and has some visible light scratches and marks. That being said there is very little surface noise and we only noticed the odd crackle here and there. Overall in our opinion the record still sounds great & was a enjoyable listen.

Likewise if you buy a big bulk of records from us, they will be boxed and packaged tightly to prevent any movement inside the box when being transported, thus avoiding breakages.
