You never quote know what you're going to get from the Emotional Rescue label but you do always know it is worth hearing. This Shavonne EP completes the Dancefloor Records trilogy they have been working on and offers up a move away from house and into the lesser known world of freestyle. Both classic but underground, 'So, Tell Me, Tell Me' is a bumping house cut with a dark heart, pinging drums and a strained vocal next to retro stabs that brings a unique late night energy. Three versions of it include the original, a trance up version and one with more electro style bass. All killer.
