New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.

This is a First Pressing of an A&M Records Promotional copy of the original 1988 release. Liner notes by movie critic Leonard Maltin and record producer Hal Willner. This copy has never been played. The gold foil Promo stamp is on the barcode. The semi-gloss inner sleeve has credits and liner notes. The cover has tight seams and shows no wear. This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from A&M Records in 1988. It has been in storage for 35 years.
