Ginger Root have been working on their own self-proclaimed genre 'aggressive elevator soul' for a hot minute and this fresh new EP is another brick in its wall. In the past, the music of this band has been very personal and filled with inward looking observations but for the first time here they come at things from an outside perspective. Musically it blends things such as city pop and yacht rock with elements of bedroom pop into something unique but very Ginger Root.
