Santana Abraxas. Need You say more? This title sounds great in Stereo or Quad. A Quad system release requires half speed mastering to achieve their goal , but they were not marketed as Half Speed Mastered because their draw was for those who had the 4 channel discreet systems. This vinyl has good sheen but has a few light marks. I'll check it out at room volume tomorrow and remove it from my listings if my ear does not agree with strict VG+ or better playback level. I bought this in pretty nice used shape about 12 years ago and played it once. Audiophile pressings should be kept immaculate (so a VG+ grade is nice , but not deserving of lofty pricing in this case)That's my take on it, I'm not going to try to squeeze out of it any more than I would pay. I played it all the way through once since I bought it. It's very nice sound, and a quite interesting new take on the Lp ,for sure, but it is not a TRUE AUDIOPHILE copy unless kept totally immaculate. The marks on the vinyl don't seem to effect the sound much but may be an occasional click or crackle. I'm pricing it therefore as I would a nice stereo copy. VINYL: VG+ COVER: VG+ Enjoy!
