The choice of music to underscore a sinister new film about a 'utopian', woman-enslaving future company town is almost certainly a political choice. That being said, the packaging and selections on this soundtrack edition for the horror 'Don't Worry Darling' is remarkably apt. Fashioned after a 1950s or 1960s 'In Stereo' compilation by the likes of Warner or BMG, it's got lip-smackingly sarcastic Baby Boomer sensibilities written all over it. Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, The Benny Goodman Trio - woo boy.
