Gary Moore is the Irish guitarist best known for his prior involvement with Thin Lizzy, but the 1995 album Blues For Greeny netted comparatively little recognition for him. Needless to say, that's not what makes a great album, and this one's the opposite of a fame-seeking project anyway - amounting to a tribute album to his musical hero, Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac. All the tracks here adapt Green's originally written songs with finger-noodly flair, with the added help of Kinks bassist Andy Pyle to boot.
