Suede's legendary self-titled album arrived in March 1993 and soon became a commercial and critical success. It also won the sometimes ill-fated Mercury Music Prize but that did nothing to hold the band back as the record hit the number one spot on the UK Album Chart. It is packed with classic singles such as 'The Drowners', 'Animal Nitrate', 'So Young', and 'Metal Mickey.' In its first week alone this LP sold some 100,000 odd copies which, at the time, made it the fastest-selling debut album ever in the UK. This special anniversary edition has been remastered Phil Kinrade from the original 1/2" tapes so sounds better than ever.
