Rock
The fifth studio album from British rockers UFO originally landed in 1976, and represented an evolution for the band. The first LP on which they would draft a full-time keyboardist, namely Danny Peyronel (who also played with Heavy Metal Kids), his impact is immediate listening back today. 'Natural Thing' and that rock 'n' roll piano riff opens the scoring, then 'I'm A Loser' drops in with keys worthy of Meatloaf epics.
All of which is before you get to 'Belladonna', where things take a turn for the decidedly fantastical-futuristic, setting the scene as to where the mid-point of this decade had got to in terms of kicking against the previous era. A movement UFO themselves played an integral part in, having first lit up stages around 1968.
