Ahmad Jamal Jazz LPs 5 Lot

1. “Tranquility” 1968 ABC Records ABCS660. The cover and vinyl rate GOOD+ to VG. The cover has disc wear, light staining and some frayed edges. All seams are intact. The vinyl has a nice gloss and sheen with scuffing. It’s still a good listen with some surface noise in the quiet areas.

2. “The Ahmad Jamal Trio” 1956 Epic LN3212 (Mono). the cover rates GOOD+. It has disc wear an some frayed edges. There is 1” split on the bottom. There is some staining and writing on the back. The vinyl rates VG+. It has a nice gloss and sheen with light scuffing.

3. “Jamal At The Penthouse” 1959 Argo LP646 (Mono). The cover rates GOOD. It has tape on the edges, writing, staining and some disc wear. The vinyl rates VG. It has a nice gloss and sheen with some scuffing.

4. “Extensions” 1965 Argo (blue Label) LPS758. The cover and vinyl rate VG. The cover has some light disc wear and yellowing on the back. The vinyl has a nice gloss and sheen with som scuffing.

5. “At The Pershing” Cadet LPS628 (reissue of 1958 Argo original). The cover rates GOOD+. It has heavy disc wear. All seams are intact. The vinyl rates VG to VG+. It has a nice gloss and sheen with some scuffing.

These records are from my personal collection. However, I’ve replaced them with better copies. They’ve been cleaned and properly stored. The covers are a little beat up. And, there is the occasional snap, crackle and pop on some of the payback. But, overall they are still a nice listen of some great Be Bop Jazz. I just want them to find a good home. GOOD LUCK!!!
