THE BEATLES - INTRODUCING THE BEATLES – ORIGINAL MONO FIRST PRESSING Of Version Two from 1964 VEE JAY RECORDS VJLP 1062 (actually recorded in ‘63)

       VG+ to EX minus VINYL CONDITION

Black background, RAINBOW RING W/ WHITE BLOCK VJ LOGO LABELS...Original second series version 2 PRESSING WITH “63-3402” and “63-6403” etched AND “Audiomatrix” stamp  IN THE DEADWAXES & MISSPELLED “COFFIN-KING”  after the “Chains” track..and the OG Sears Baggy!

As noted above, vinyl is VG+ to EX minus, very clean, with not much evidence of play…gave this record a full listen…PLAYS CLEAN & POWERFUL! Nice, raw, early sound of the Beatles when they were just beginning…a great listen!

 This is the TRUE FIRST PRESSING of the version 2 series, NOT A COUNTERFEIT.

 (with “Please, Please, Me & Ask Me Why”)

Distinguishing Notes:
Jacket:
- Shadow behind George Harrison on front cover;
- Track List printed in two columns on back cover;
- "Please, Please, Me” and “Ask Me Why” version two
- Semi-gloss finish on both sides.
- 1/4 inch overlap top and bottom on inside of cover. - OG Sears Baggy

Labels:
- Black background/rainbow ring w/white block VJ logo letters
- "INTRODUCING the BEATLES" printed centered below Vee Jay letters
- "THE BEATLES" printed centered below album title.
-Track A4 has the misspelling “Coffin-King” for authors.. -Track B3 ("Do You Want to Know a Secret?") does not have a question mark at the end of the title on the label. -No song times listed on label (or back side)
  “63-3402” and “63-3403” etched, “Audiomatrix “ and “URJ” stamped and *also has “2-6-64” on both sides etched below the “63-3402” and “63-3403” etchings in the runouts..I’m guessing this date is when Vee Jay started pressing the version 2”s?
VINYL: VG+/EX-; Hi gloss. Couple super light scuffs, nothing deep, does not affect sound, plays through fine without skips….thick early 60’s inflexible vinyl..quality strong sound mix/pressing..labels have almost no wear, just a couple light dings and spots of paper missing here & there..
COVER:  VG+/EX-; no real shelf/edge/ring wear, other than the opening, but very solid..OG Sears Baggy, small name written at opening,  back side and front side super clean under baggy...original generic inner sleeve…
PLAY TESTED:  this pressing plays powerfully and clean. Great RICH FULL Mono sound fidelity
Really nice overall condition!
