In the Court of the Crimson King (subtitled An Observation by King Crimson) is the debut studio album by English rock band King Crimson, released on 10 October 1969 by Island Records. The album is one of the earliest and most influential of the progressive rock genre, where the band combined the musical influences that rock music was founded upon with elements of jazz, classical, and symphonic music.

THE COVER WAS PAINTED BY BARRY GODBER WHO SADLY DIED JUST AFTER ITS RELEASE, ROBERT FRIPP NOW HAS THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK.THE COVER REPRESENTS SCHIZOID MAN , THE INNER GATEFOLD THE CRIMSON KING.

Age related wear to the outer gategold sleeve - as to be expected for an item of this age.

The vinyl has a lovely glossy sheen and sits completely  flat to the surface with no warping. Labels are clean with no writing.  Visually the vinyl is good, with light surface marks, some wispy hairs and a couple of small scores.

The inner is included - very creased.

Will be packaged securely and sent via 2nd class signed for delivery.
