The Gits Mia Zapata - Enter: The Conquering Chicken
Broken Rekids – SKIP 20 C/Z Records – CZ076
White Vinyl VG++/E+ Condition
This is a very rare original 1st pressing on White Vinyl from Broken Rekids and in VG++ E+ condition. I've included several pictures with different lighting contrast to show the condition of the vinyl the best I could, given that it is white vinyl.
Including pictures of the Matrix on both sides of the LP: Matrix / Runout (Side A (etched)): L-42415 (A) SKIP-20 AI "PUNK IS DEAD But Matrix / Runout (Side B (etched)): L-42415-X (A) SKIP-20 BI we're still Dying"
Along with the original 8 Page Booklet that came with the release which is also in VG++/Excellent condition
The album cover is in VG+ condition and the edges show slight use or edge wear from handling for almost 30 years. Please refer to pictures for condition and close inspection. It will include a 12" resealable vinyl protective sleeve for storing in your collection.
Sorry, no international shipping.
It will be mailed in the 12" vinyl protective sleeve and between cardboard for postage handling within TWO Uline Bubble Mailers measuring 15 x 15 via USPS Media Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Shipping costs are dependent on actual zip codes from me to you. All sales are final.
I played this a total of 3 times: 1 for listening after purchase in 1994 and 2x for recording to CDR over the past 30 years.
I will also include 2 flyers of Mia's Benefit Shows that were held in Seattle and Boston respectively.
The Seattle Show was a fund raiser for her funeral costs a few weeks after Mia's tragic passing by very close friends, Seattle area bands, and the Boston Show was a few months later, to raise funds for a private investigator, into the investigation of her murder that was held at Axis Night Club on Lansdowne St.
The addressee on the back of the Seattle Show was addressed to me and has no significance of the band, or Mia, and was from a friend at the event for the show. This benefit show was why close friends and label mates, 7 Year Bitch named their 2nd full length album the following year, ¡Viva Zapata!. As there were many in attendance at the benefit show to list here, the list is long and well known.
I will be including both flyers because I know whoever wants this album, will likely want them and I mainly stored them both in the 8 page booklet ever since both shows. The flyer for the Boston show has two pin holes at top, which were hung up on the wall in Axis where I acquired it at the benefit show. They are both a part of history of events that should never be forgotten and signify how much Mia was loved.
Goldmine Record Grading System:
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) or EXCELLENT (E) A good description of a VG+ record is “except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++ or E+).
VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.
