VERY EARLY A//1, B//1, A//1 B//1 matrixes, with the usual partially corected matrix lines, as present on all 1st pressings.

Has the controversial album cover featuring naked women that was quickly banned. Even more rare as this item has the sought after black and white "Track Record" label not the later orange Polydor one!

Background...

Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience and the final studio album released before Hendrix's death in 1970. A double album, it was the only record from the Experience produced by Hendrix. The band's most commercially successful release and its only number one album, it was released by Reprise Records in the United States on October 16, 1968, and by Track Records in the UK nine days later. By mid-November, it had reached number one on the U.S. charts, spending two weeks there. In the UK it peaked at number six, where it spent 12 weeks on the chart

Both vinyl discs are in nice condition for age, all sides have a lovely glossy sheen and sit completely flat without any warping. The labels and spindle holes are fab! There are some visable but non feelable surface lines and a couple of small feelable ones.

The much sought after outer cover is in good condition - still retains a sheen. Has the rare and much sought after BLUE GHOST TEXT. Has age related wear /discolouration to the corners/edges/spine and some film crinkles etc. Has seen better days.

Taking all into consideration, an invaluable and RARE piece to add to your collection!!!
