The side A matrix reads: PP-LA004-F-A ̶1 STERLING GF A3
The side B matrix reads: PP-LA004-F-B-1 STERLING A5 T1 (refer to pictures)
-Other identifier: "Poncho and Lefty" is the spelling on the label, while the inner gatefold spelling is "Pauncho and Lefty"
The
record plays at EX, damn near 'NM''--at its only towards the end of the
album, Side B, that I would conservatively rate it as playing VG-.
Starting around the forth song on Side B ("Poncho and Lefty" sounds
excellent, it is song 2 on side B) , there are visible indentations from
the factory pressing caused by dirt getting into the plating baths.
However, the record play flawlessly with no skips, with the indentations
coming off as surface noise. There is slight paper scuffing that does
not effect play on Side B . Please refer to pictures for condition of the sleeve--there is slight ring wear and some wear on the spine. Also included is the original burgundy inner sleeve has"From Poppy With Love" printed around perimeter of circular opening.
The Vinyl Rating System I Use
SEALED: Jacket sealed shut in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is"
Near Mint (NM): Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. I seldom use this grade.
Excellent (EX): May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.
Very Good Plus (VG+): A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.
Very Good (VG): Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG+ and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
Very Good Minus (VG-): A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
Good (G) : Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
