Here we have for auction a rare 1st UK stereo pressing of The Beatles - Abbey Road. 
This is the misprint fully laminated sleeve version with misaligned Apple logo on the rear sleeve, no " Her Majesties" credit on the label nor the sleeve, and cropped front cover photo barely showing the drain cover on the crossing.
The matrix numbers are;
YEX 749-2 YEX 750-1
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in the amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up shiny and black with fine hairlines and scuffs visible on both sides and a couple of slightly bigger marks on Side 2.
The record still performed really well on play testing with some noise in parts to be expected. This did not spoil the enjoyment however, the sound quality was truly excellent! We own a 2021 Abbey Road remastered copy and this original version absolutely smoked the remaster! No jumping, sticking or loud pops.
Both labels are clean and writing free with light spindle trails only.
The fully laminated outer sleeve is in great shape for its age with light creasing and laminate lift. Some rubbing to corners and open edge but NO writing, stains or tears.
We have popped the record into a brand new anti static poly lined sleeve to keep it pristine and static free after cleaning.
