The Beatles - Please Please Me Black & Gold Parlophone Label UK 1st press **MONO** PMC 1202 1st press matrix numbers Very early mother stampers DICK JAMES CREDITS !! Angus Mc Bean credits !! Fitst press matrix numbers... Side 1 = XEX 421 -1N Side 2 = XEX 422 - 1N VERY EARLY mother stampers... Side 1 = 2 RD Side 2 = 2 GM The original cover 'Angus Mc Bean' 1st press cover is in really good condition for age! Has the expected age related dirt, discolouration, wear to edges/corners/spine etc... shows the ALL IMPORTANT **Angus Mc Bean** credit to the bottom right of the outer cover to confirm first pressing. HAS A NICE SPINE! The inner polylined 'Exitex' protective inner is beautiful. No splits or tears, only minor age related discolouration. EXCELLENT. The vinyl itself has retained a gorgeous sheen in appearance and sits completely flat with no warping what so ever. Shows the ALL important Dick james mus . co " PUBLISHING CREDIT FOR " I SAW HER STANDING THERE ETC!!! And of course the incredibly rare BLACK & GOLD Parlophone labels which are fabulous!! Has some visable sleeve removal/surface lines but nothing overly notable or worrying. Spindle trails can be seen at an angle. Overall really really lovely for age!
