Nana Komatsu, a young student, decides to leave her hometown to join her boyfriend Shoji, who is studying at an art school in Tokyo.

On the train to the capital, Nana Komatsu finds himself next to Nana Osaki, a young girl who also goes to Tokyo to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional singer, like her boyfriend Ren, the guitarist of the popular band "Awkwardness". The two young girls sharing the same name will quickly become friends even though they are completely different. Their paths will cross as they try to settle down in Tokyo and end up deciding to live in the same apartment in order to support each other in their love and their work.

Hiroo Yamaguchi is an iconic animation composer. He has notably arranged songs for D Gray-Man, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist and Fruits Baskets.
