1st Press Matrix numbers...

Side 1 = SHVL 814 A-1

Side 2 = SHVL 814 B-5

Early Mother stampers...

Side 1 = 7 MAP

Side 2 = 3 GPP

The outer sleeve is the first variant, which is noted by the pinched spine and is in excellent condition! No splits or tears and is still beautiful! Just age related discolouration/yellowing.

The labels are the first variant which shows "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" song-writers credit for 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' (Side 1 Part 5). Which was subsequently changed on later pressings for just "Waters". They are absolutely stunningly clean and have amazing spindle holes .

The matrix numbers on the vinyl show that this is a UK first A1 B5 pressing. The mother stamper codes also suggest that the record was produced very early in the manufacturing line.

Included is the often missing post card with crinkle cut edges - Again excellent.

The original card inner sleeve, with a notch to the top edge and which is die-cut on three of the four corners. It is in excellent / near mint condition! It is fresh and clean and vibrant with no splits or tears!

All are in BEYOND SUPERB condition... the vinyl has a superior glossy sheen in appearance, and sits completely flat with no warping. There are literally two incredibly light insignificant surface lines. Excellent.
