I recently acquired a stunning Rolling Stones collection and I will listing them over the next 2/3 months.  The vinyls are in superb condition as are the covers.

The Rolling Stones : Big Hits (High Tide And Green Grass) 6D/6D Green Boxed Stereo Press

This stereo pressing plays to the highest standard possible with a sonic quality that can only be described as exceptional!  As per the other records from this collection it has hardly been played and that is reflected in the clarity, definition, power and warmth of the audio.  It just could not play any better and is easily a FINAL UPGRADE archive pressing.  You will not be surprised to hear that the vinyl is also visually stunning with no marks etc.

The gatefold cover is in lovely condition with no obvious wear and the inner booklet is still 100% attached.  The original inner is also in great order.

It may not be a first pressing but it is still an early one produced between 1970 - 1972 according to the stonesondecca site.  The inner sleeve is itself dated 10-72.  Every aspect remains in fantastic condition for over 50 years old.

Visual description
The vinyl is in lovely condition and still has a superb glossy sheen with marks or scratches.  Under a bright light I can only see a handful of faint hairlines but they are so minor and very difficult to locate!  The run out grooves are very clean and you can easily read the matrix info and the JT tax stamp on each side.  The green boxed Decca labels have only a couple of faint spindle traces on each side and no marking or writing.
Play grading
For once I will not describe each track in detail because one, they all play with stunning sonic quality and two, time is against me!  However, I will listen to each track in full so as to still provide a 'complete' grade.  First up is 'Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby...' and it rocks out loud and true with no interference at all.  The classic 'Paint It Black' then plays to the highest standard possible with a sonic quality that could not be any stronger.  Not one tick etc it is Mint in every way.  The rest of the tracks on S1 play with sublime quality.  There are no ticks, clicks, pops or static and the clarity of sound is so impressive.  'The Last Time' and 'Heart Of Stone' have a more 'raw' sound quality but they still play perfectly with no intrusion and the final two tracks 'Not Fade Away' and 'Come On' play in the same exact way.  A stunning side of music and from start to finish Mint is well deserved.

The classic '(I can't get no) Satisfaction' plays with supreme audio from the get go - the clarity and power of the audio is as good as it gets and every section is Mint that is no exaggeration.  'Get Off My Cloud' is just as impressive - a powerful track and yet no distortion.  'As Tears Go By' plays beautifully from start to finish with only one barely audible dust tick and then '19th Nervous Breakdown' plays with impeccable quality and... no interference.  Another Mint track.  They're all classics but the absolute classic 'Lady Jane' plays with STUNNING clarity and warmth and 'as new' sums it up perfectly.  That applies to the entire album truth be told!  The version here of 'Time Is On My Side' is the strongest I have ever heard and 'Little Red Rooster' ends the album with incredible clarity again, the playback is just perfect.  Every song on this side grades as Mint and I am confident in saying that.

In summary this stereo pressing plays with unbelievable quality, it just could not play any better.  That's not me 'over-selling' it that is just my honest opinion.  First and foremost I am a fan so when you get so many classics playing with a sonic quality like this you cannot fail but be impressed.  The clarity, depth, power and warmth of the audio is second to none and as previously mentioned this is clearly an album that has hardly been played over the last 50+ years.  Another FINAL UPGRADE archive classic in every sense.

The Gatefold & Inner Sleeve

The cover is in superb condition with very little wear.  The edges have only minimal rubbing and the spine is stunning and only slightly angled.  Only the bottom right right corner has very slight wear, the others are very clean, and the opening edge is perfect.  The front cover has only the bare minimum of fading / ringwear near the bottom and the back cover is even better!  The inside of the gatefold is close to perfect with only light fading again near the foot of the right panel and the 6 page inner booklet is stunning and remains firmly attached to the cover.  It would be difficult better one!

The original poly-lined inner sleeve (dated 10-72) is in great shape and has only light creasing.

This record has been cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
