Former USC schoolmates Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson aka MUNA have often enjoyed writing sad songs and wallowing in musical melancholia but for their 'Silk Chiffon' single which first came in 2021, they decided to do away with that MO and try something new.
