Here we have George Harrison's The Concert For Bangladesh 3 x LP box set.
Benefit concerts are nothing new - back then, George asked a few mates to pitch in and play at Madison Square Garden to raise money to help refugee children. And what a bunch of mates to call on - Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton,Bob Dylan, Ravi Shankar and more. The concert was recorded and released on a 3x LP box set.
All three records have been ultrasonically cleaned and have come up spotless and very shiny with only minor scuffs visible. No feelable damage. They are in super barely played condition with clean labels and spindle holes- see photos. I have graded EX.
Playback reveals a great live concert atmosphere captured on the recording with good stereo imagery. A warm, nostalgic analogue sound. There is very low occasional noise and crackle, notably in the quiet passages, but this does not spoil the enjoyment. No jumping or sticking.
The original brown inner sleeves are all present and in excellent condition.
There was originally a booklet included in the set but this has gone astray & is not included.
The box is in good condition except for the lid sides are coming apart at two corners but no writing, tape or tears.
We have taken lots of pictures so you can see exactly the condition. Please take time to look as they form part of the description. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
