Queen : The Miracle A-1 / B-2 1st Press 1989
This first pressing plays with stunning quality with no interference. All I noticed were a small number of very quiet statics on the S2 intro and a couple of very light ticks and that hardly qualifies as interference! The clarity and depth of the audio is so impressive on both sides and I have not heard one as 'clean' as this in many a year. The vinyl is visually in superb shape and has clearly not been played very much.
The cover is quite simply one of the best I have seen and has no obvious wear at all. The lyric inner is also in fantastic condition and I am sure many would say 'as new'.
PCSD 107 // A - 1U - 1 - 4 / B - 2U - 1 - 1 // D TOWNHOUSE DMM etched on both runs outs
The audio on S1 is Mint(-)
The audio on S2 is Mint(-) (T1 intro Near Mint-)
The cover is Near Mint
The lyric inner is Mint-
The labels are Near Mint
Visual description The vinyl is in lovely condition and still has a superb glossy sheen with no marks or scratches. Under a bright light I can only see a small number of faint superficial hairlines which have no affect on the audio. The run out grooves are very clean and the labels are unmarked with only very minimal spindle wear.
Play grading
'Party' plays with stunning audio with no sign of any interference. There is not even a single dust tick and I am confident in grading it as Mint such is the quality.
The segue into 'Khashoggi's Ship' is perfect and it proceeds to play with great power and definition and you cannot fault the clarity. The end sequence in particular is so strong and powerful with a sublime depth of sound. As good as new and Mint
The intro on 'The Miracle' has no background and the opening vocal section is just as impressive. It continues to play with such precision and again there is nothing to detract from the audio. I've always thought John's bass is so strong and deep on this album and that is very much in evidence here as it is such a clean vinyl. The instrumental near the end is a prime example of that and then the final vocal section plays to perfection including the fade out. Another Mint track.
The classic 'I Want It All' plays with exceptional clarity and power through every section and is easy to grade. No ticks, clicks, pops, static or distortion this is Mint all the way.
'The Invisible Man' ends the side with near perfect audio. Perhaps I'm being too critical but there are a couple of staticy sounds at the end of the fade out and I do mean right at the end of the fade out, it is almost silent! Mint-
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The intro on 'Breakthru' is often problematic but the playback here is very impressive with only some very quiet background static ticks and they don't even last the duration. As the pace picks up the audio is superb and that standard is kept up to the very end. I will grade the intro as Near Mint- but the rest is undoubtedly Mint
The intro on 'Rain Must Fall' has just one mega light tick and then plays perfectly from that point on. Again it plays with tremendous depth and warmth and Mint- is fair.
The quiet build up intro on 'Scandal' so often plays with static but the playback here is so clean and precise with no intrusion. As Brian enters the scene the audio is still 'as new' and the same applies to Freddie's opening vocal. It continues to play with a rich dynamic sound and the clarity is just stunning. This is Mint from start to finish and it's not often you find one of them!
'My Baby Does Me' plays with sublime depth throughout without any background. This has got Freddie and John written all over it and having done a little 'research' it was indeed written by them! It is Mint including the long fade out.
The classic 'Was It All Worth It' has just one very quiet static right at the start and the rest of the intro plays perfectly. The first high octane section from Brian is flawless and the first vocal section is just as good. It continues in the same precise way and for a final track the audio definition is superb! The 'orchestral' section could not play any better and the final powerful section plays with phenomenal quality as does the final quieter keyboard piece. This has to grade as Mint- it is a stunning version.
In summary this genuine first pressing plays to a superb standard with barely any background. There are certainly no clicks or pops and all you can hear are a handful of minor statics at the start of S2 and a couple of light ticks. Fast approaching 35 years old the clarity and power of the audio is stunning and there cannot be many around today that play as well as this.
The Cover & Lyric Inner
The cover is also in beautiful condition and I really cannot find fault with it. A couple of tiny barely visible corner creases and one tiny indent on the opening edge of the back cover that's about it! Oh and a handful of very faint creases on the front cover next to the spine as is common, you can only really see them when you hold it at a certain angle. Overall a stunning example of this iconic cover.
The lyric inner is practically 'as new' with only a barely visible mega small crease at each end of the thumb notch.

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Many thanks.
All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
