"I love it when you have a clear memory of a time and place that was the first time you heard a track. The first time I heard Fade's Remix of "What You Want" was during Dave Seamen's set at an old club in Sydney called Sublime (which is sadly now I believe a pokies venue), I think it was a tour to promote 'Renaissance 4' - anyway, I'd stopped really paying attention to more traditional house styles at the time - but I still picked up on Future Force's "What You Want" in it's original form because it was just too damn good.
Still remember the vocal coming in, to my great surprise, and instinctively knowing all the words on the dancefloor - but it was a-top this unfamiliar yet ethereal, pounding epic house foundation, and just being in love with music, and life."
