Background...

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Released on 26 May 1967,[nb 1] Sgt. Pepper is regarded by musicologists as an early concept album that advanced the roles of sound composition, extended form, psychedelic imagery, record sleeves, and the producer in popular music. The album had an immediate cross-generational impact and was associated with numerous touchstones of the era's youth culture, such as fashion, drugs, mysticism, and a sense of optimism and empowerment. Critics lauded the album for its innovations in songwriting, production and graphic design, for bridging a cultural divide between popular music and high art, and for reflecting the interests of contemporary youth and the counterculture.

The vinyl is really nice for age. It has a glossy sheen in appearance and sits flat to the surface. Nice labels and spindle holes. Has only a couple of non feelable hair lines and scuff patch and a tiny 3mm score at the end of one of these.  Spindle trails can be seen at an angle.

The outer gatefold is good for age with no splits or tears  - has retained a glossy appearance and is still bright and vibrant with no splits orctears. Has the usual age wear to the corners, edges, spine as to be expected for an item of this age.

The original dark green 'Peter Blake' cutouts outs are excellent.

The often missing Ted Fool's Swirl Inner is included but has seen better days with seam splits, dirt/discolouration.
