The famous 12" HMV single sided disc recorded in Lile France in 1918

The recording was made by William Gaisberg, Brother of the Famed recording engineer, talent scout and musician

This controversial disc has been much debated as to the recordings authenticity, and its finally been decided by 'experts' that it is indeed real

Sadly Gaisberg died a few weeks after this recording was made, probably due to gas inhalation and subsequent poisoning

Its a stark and harrowing recording where the 'Whizz-Bang' can clearly be heard numerous times

a lovely EX copy of this sought after record from 116 years ago!

Comments: Rare!
