Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Released on 26 May 1967,[nb 1] Sgt. Pepper is regarded by musicologists as an early concept album that advanced the roles of sound composition, extended form, psychedelic imagery, record sleeves, and the producer in popular music. The album had an immediate cross-generational impact and was associated with numerous touchstones of the era's youth culture, such as fashion, drugs, mysticism, and a sense of optimism and empowerment. Critics lauded the album for its innovations in songwriting, production and graphic design, for bridging a cultural divide between popular music and high art, and for reflecting the interests of contemporary youth and the counterculture.

The vinyl has a glossy sheen in appearance and  sits flat to the surface. Nice labels and spindle holes.  To the naked eye appearance is excellent  bar a small score near the inner label. Under strong light, light non feelable surface lines can be soon. Spindle trails can be seen at an angle.

The green Peter Blake cutouts are great as seem to have been kept inside the gatefold, with only minor discolouration/age wear.

The outer GATEFOLD cover is also good for age with no splits or tears. Has dirt, age discolouration/wear to the corners/edges/spine as to be expected for an item of this age, some crinkles to the outer protective film and a small nic to the outer edge.

OVERALL A NICE ORIGINAL PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR MUSICAL COLLECTION!!!
