Beatles debut lp “please please me” Parlophone yellow/black pcs 3040 cross over pressing with no recording first published text on labels.Released 1963.Matrix information side 1 pcs 3042 -1 1 P side two pcs 3042-1 1 G early matrix information with reportedly very few copies pressed.with original e.mi polylined paper inner sleeve.Comes with very rare Gold edition e.j.day front laminated flipback sleeve.Easily recognised by the text Angus McBean in bottom far right corner.These covers were issued with the rare holy grail gold/black editions. Now for the condition… The record is graded strictly as very good with nice original shine.A few light surface marks and bag rash on close up inspection.I have played this lp on my linn turntable and the sound quality is simply superb stereophonic sound .Inner sleeve is very nice with no creasing or seam splits ect.The rare gold edition e j day sleeve is graded strongly as very good plus.Flipbacks all intact with a nice white rear.Nice shiny laminate and super fully readable spine.general corner bumps but it is a really nice 1st edition sleeve.pictures provided.A chance to own a nice copy of this rare stereo edition and also a great opportunity to upgrade your gold/black edition sleeve with this one if you are fortunate enough to own the gold/ black stereo edition that may require a better upgrade to your current cover.good luck if bidding
