From EBay’s “A.I.” Dept: “This is a vinyl LP by the Dave Brubeck Quartet, titled "Time Out". It was released in 1959 by Columbia and is in the 33 RPM format. The record features jazz music from the 1950s and is a first pressing stereo edition with the catalog number CS 8192 and 6-Eye Stereo 1st series press has 2AD/2AK in the runouts. The LP comes in a cardboard sleeve and is black in color, with a record grading of Very Good Plus (VG+) and sleeve grading of Very Good Plus (VG+) , making this an excellent addition to any jazz vinyl collection.” Part of a large neighborhood estate purchase form a one-owner smoke-free household… SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS! I’m listing a bunch of original classic rock & jazz vinyls
Vinyl looks great; nice black deep gloss, “heavy, thick” late 50s/early 60s vinyl..labels great with just a few “squiggles” around the spindle holes show not much play….
play tested, first tracks on each side have a some light static, “Take Five” sounds excellent!
Cover is a strong VG+, solid, good colors still, no seam splits, back side has name written, spine has small section of paper missing & small piece of tape as seen in the last pic..non-original but period “Capitol” inner sleeve..
Pretty rare example!
The disk will be placed in a generic new anti-static inner sleeve. The album cover and record are then placed in a protective polypropylene outer sleeve (the record is always stored and shipped outside its original sleeve). The record will be shipped with 2 protective mailer pads inside an outer cardboard mailer.
All records are shipped media mail domestically unless the buyer requests another service.
If you are bidding and hope to win multiple items please wait until the end of the auction for an invoice before paying if you wish to receive combined shipping.
Thx for looking,
