A remarkable set of Fred Elizalde Decca Test pressings made in preparation for the scarce 7 record album set released in the UK in November of 1936 to celebrate the various styles and collaborations of Elizalde in the last 10 years or so.
The actual album is a sought after set itself and rarely turns up.
The set of records 14 in total, all single sided (listed below) are genuine Decca pressings and were taken on loan from the collection of H G Penniket, the founder of The No1 Rhythm Club in London, Penniket was an authority and close friend on Elizalde, and an avid collector.
the set comes with the booklet prepared by Penniket himself detailing much about the tunes in the album and Elizalde himself.
Each record is supplied in its original jacket with Penniket's handwritten listing
each record is in EX+ or better condition and is the only known set to exist (if I'm wrong about this, please advise)
