Interesting record for sale. This is a copy of Jimmy Smith’s “Christmas Cookin” / “Christmas ‘64” Jazz LP. It comes from a private collection of an early Houstonian disc jockey.
The sleeve is printed under the 1966 stereo version of “Christmas Cookin”; however, the record itself was printed as the original 1964 mono version “Christmas ‘64”. Not sure of the exact circumstances but pretty neat nonetheless.
RECORD GRADING / VG+
Shows little to no heavy handling, plays very well. Light surface noise and light scuffing.
SLEEVE GRADING / VG+
Shows standard damage and wear from 50+ years of handling, light corner bend / seam damage and surface wear from storage. DJ stickers and small writing present (see photos).
