German producer and singer Fancy began his career in German schlager music under the name Tess Teiges. He met Jimi Hendrix in 1967 and collaborated with Giorgio Moroder on demo tapes and by the mid-70s he was producing international hits with Claudia Field & Red Face. Fancy's breakthrough came in 1984 with the hit 'Slice Me Nice' ns he went on to achieve significant success in dance music, topping the Billboard Dance Chart three times and earning a "Top 10 of the Year" spot in 1985 with 'Chinese Eyes.'.
