I purchased this album new and professionally cleaned/treated the LP playing surfaces using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine followed by an ultrasonic cleaning using a DeGritter and de-magnetized using a Furutech DeMag device. I played this album twice to determine the quality of playback; as in MINT. Also included is a critical review of the recording and musical merit: "This is, without a doubt, the greatest rock-and-roll Christmas album ever recorded." "The Spector "Wall of Sound" works beautifully in this context, as does the muscular, full vibrato singing Phil coaxed out of the women." According to the front cover, this is a "Digitally Remastered Monaural Recording". This album was manufactured and marketed by Rhino Records ( a big plus ). This LP plays back very cleanly (very near perfectly; arguably better than new). From my musical library. In time for Christmas.
