This item is:
A 1st press Deluxe wooden box issue of Wagner's Der Ring Des Nibelungen. Solti conducting the Vienna Philharmonic. UK Decca pressing RING 1-22 A superb copy of this classic set. All 4 operas come with their own colour coordinated Decca inner sleeves and booklets. Also in this set is the 3lp Introduction to the Ring. Records are in great condition, very light usage, little sign of use. Vast majority of sides are NM / EX+, a few sides are EX, Chance of a few soft ticks on side 1 of Die Walkure. There's a pressing mark on side 1 of Siegfried and side 5 of Gotterdammerung, chance of some soft ticks. Inner Sleeves are NM to EX. Booklets are in NM to EX+ condition, Wooden Box is in EX+ condition, a few marks consistent with age Slip cases are generally VG+. Some small splits at the ends of "book end" of the slip cases, but they are structurally sound. All records in the original Decca poly-lined inner sleeves This box set is very heavy and will require courier shipment.
