WHY GET 7" SINGLES?

When you get your hands on a good quality 7" pressing, the sound is simply breathtaking. The reason is, the pressing engineer had more creative freedom because there was more space to play with on the vinyl. If they were skilled, they could really bring out a depth of sound that's truly unmatched on any other sort of medium. Of course, the other reason to invest in vintage 45s is their rarity. These records are highly unlikely to ever be pressed again. Once you have one, you're simply holding a little piece of history that (probably) won't be repeated.
