I am reluctantly selling my Japanese pressings of four Beatles albums. A Hard Day’s Night, Rubber Soul, Yesterday… and Today, Sgt Pepper. See my other auctions for details on the other LPs. I bought them in Japan myself in 1984. The records themselves are in excellent condition, having been played only once each on a Thorens turntable/Shure cartridge and then transferred to a reel-to-reel tape. The vinyl has been removed from the sleeve just one other time since I bought them, for these pictures. Flaws in the Obi, album cover, and interior contents are all shown in the pictures. Note the condition of the inserts for Pepper, stunning as if new. I am not a record store or serious collector, so I'm unfamiliar with the eccentricities of the grading system.
