Dope disco and boogie makeovers of vintage library tracks by Stones Throw dude and eccentric studio engineer James Pants, and modern disco man, Tom Noble. The project was conceived by Franky Hutchinson and Pablo Valentino (suitably discoid names!) as an opportunity to refresh some deep diggings from the vaults and the results are very coo. With bare bones drum tracks by Klaus Weiss, James Pants fleshes out a loosely percussive disco-not-disco groover with freshly starched synthlines ready for your next deckside soiree, while Tom Noble's boogie disco refit of the same drum track turns out smoother and quite French sounding to these ears.
