We grade our vinyl under direct light.  VINYL/COVER  

MINT =  Mint

No visible flaws on record, clean gloss.

NM = Near Mint

Very clean. May have a few small marks.

VG+ = Very Good Plus

Light scratches and wear are visible but record plays great. May have some light surface noise.

VG = Very Good

A good record that looks used with surface scratches and marks on most of the record. Still plays fine. May have some surface noise.

FAIR = Fair

A record that might fill a d.j.'s collection. Lots of wear and marks, but still plays
