This 7" celebrates the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who with the original Ron Grainer theme tune used for William Hartnell’s incarnation and Time Beat by Ray Cathode aka Maddalena Fagandini, which was  BBC’s time signal interval jingle. Harkit Records are celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Doctor by reissuing this, the original theme used for William Hartnell’s incarnation.

The theme, written by Ron Grainer was arranged by Delia Derbyshire.

The flip is Ray Cathode’s (aka Maddalena Fagandini) “Time Beat”. It was an early pre-Beatles production by George Martin!
