Joni Mitchell: Blue
Product Description:
180 Gram Audiophile Pressing by RTI Gatefold HQ-180 Vinyl

Warner Bros. Records continues its unparalleled audiophile LP reissue run with an astounding pressing of Joni Mitchell's Blue. Mastered by our friend Steve Hoffman and cut by Kevin Grey at RTI on 180g vinyl, this is hands-down the very best pressing of Joni’s 1971 masterpiece.

Without a doubt, one of the most important and influential artists in all of contemporary music, Mitchell is a legendary singer/songwriter and musical icon. Since her 1968 debut LP, the five-time Grammy winner has released a long string of stellar albums as emotionally powerful as they are stylistically diverse. Her 1971 poetic masterpiece, Blue is now completely re-mastered and pressed on 180-gram HQ vinyl. Even the original artwork is replicated on this gatefold release.

Featuring such memorable songs as "Carey," "All I Want," "California," "A Case of You," and "River," Blue raised the stakes of confessional folk-pop to new levels of honesty and openness. Mitchell's music moves beyond the constraints of acoustic folk into more intricate and diverse territory, setting the stage for the experimentation of her later work. Unrivaled in its intensity and insight, the entire album is perfect from start to finish. Sonically and musically, we cannot give this pressing a high enough recommendation. Pure excellence and Kudos to Steve Hoffman!

WE CARE ABOUT WHAT WE SHIP! US Recording will, for free, unseal and remove the LP itself from the jacket to
absolutely prevent seam splits in shipping  if you immediately ask us to after payment.  This is guaranteed preventable
damage if you simply ask us to do it. (This is the proper way to ship LPS anyway.) If you do not ask us to do it, we cannot
guarantee there will be no seam splits no matter how well the records are packed, and we will not consider any record
jacket seam splits as "damage" for a return or compensation.

Some LPS are factory shrink wrapped, and others are factory sealed in bags, especially many of the higher end versions and most
imports. European pressings are mostly sealed in bags because that is THEIR standard of packaging.  The USA standard is to shrink
wrap but it could go either way.  If the type of "manner of seal" is a question to you, please contact us before purchase." - ©2014 US Recording Media, LLC
