Sisyphus – Sisyphus // Limited to 450 Gold Inside Clear w/ White Splatter Vinyl 2xLP (VIP Exclusive)
UPDATE (2/20/14): The ‘VIP Exclusive’ as well as the ‘Regular Ltd. Ed.’ are now SOLD OUT. There is still Black vinyl available as well as a newly added White vinyl.
NOTE: Gold Inside Clear w/ White Splatter.
You start the conversation with “collaboration between Serengeti, Son Lux, and Sufjan Stevens” and really not much else needs to follow in my opinion. I guess you wonder, hmm what direction will these dudes take this. Their previous release under the name s/s/s found a solid balance between being experimental and pop friendly. I only have the first single to base this one off of, but it seems that this one might even be more in the pop friendly direction. I say that and watch the rest of the album go super experimental. Either way, it’s going to be awesome.
