Edna Winston - Victor 20407
I Got a Mule to Ride & Peepin Jim
Edna made only a few records for Victor in 1926 and 1927 - this is her first recording. Blues collectors know what to expect regarding condition - surface rubs, scratches, some groove wear and a needle run on side two. However, there are no chips, cracks, deep pits, warps or other major problems so the record plays without skipping or repeating. The surface is noisy, but a custom stylus significantly help to reduce noise. I'll grade it a 4 on a scale of 10 - noisy but still playable.
