  During concerts white flag. You could purchase your own white flag, The flag was 17.5 inches by 11 inches. It came with a 31 pole display inches in length and was capped with a gold plastic flag pointed tip.

The tour was to support the band's third studio album "War." This album represented a few first's for U2: the first overtly political album from the band and Edge's debut at lead vocals on the song "Seconds."
