CLASSIC ALBUM FROM A HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL BAND...

 

THIS RECORD OBVIOUSLY SAW SOME LATE NIGHTS & WASN'T ALWAYS PUT BACK IN THE SLEEVE...

 

THERE ARE NUMEROUS LIGHT MARKS VISIBLE ON INSPECTION, SOME SCUFFS & BLEMISHES, ONE ON SIDE 2 WHICH IS QUITE LONG BUT DOES NOT SEEM TO EFFECT PLAYBACK GREATLY...

 

MOST OF THE TIME IT IS GIVING A SOLID ENOUGH PLAYBACK, THERE ARE SOME REGULAR POPS & CLICKS, IT DOES SKIP A GROOVE ON A COUPLE OF TRACKS, THERE IS SOME LIGHT SURFACE NOISE BETWEEN TRACKS WHICH CUTS THROUGH THE MUSIC A LITTLE AT POINTS, BUT NOTHING OVERPOWERING

 

OVERALL IT IS A FUNTIONAL COPY WITH SOME REDUCED SOUND QUALITY, STILL ENJOYABLE, THOSE AFTER A TOP COPY PERHAPS SHOP AROUND FOR SOME AT THE BOOK PRICES...

I am checking them all to make sure there is an acceptable standard of playback so you can enjoy the music.

You may experience a skip or pop, some light surface noise here and there - imperfections that are the nature of used vinyl, I aim to give great value, fair postage deals & an accurate an honest grading. 

 

SLEEVE GRADING

 

All sleeves show signs of use/stroage.

 

I have included pictures to show areas of wear or damage so please take a look.

 

You may well find some of the following :- shelfwear, discolour, creasing, ringwear, edge & corner scuffing, sticker marks, small seam splits etc...

 

Any more serious damage will be noted.

GRADING SYSTEM

 

MINT (M)

 Never been played or item still sealed. Cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster (ie contents) are in perfect condition.

 

NEAR MINT (NM)

In brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover and contents nearly perfect.

EXCELLENT (EX)

Shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD+ (VG+)

  Obviously been played but no significant deterioration in sound quality despite light surface marks. Very little wear and tear on cover and contents, without any major defects.

 

VERY GOOD (VG)

Obviously been played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any major defects.

Some mild surface noise may be audible in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise.

GOOD+ (G+)

Sound quality has deteriorated but with no distortion. Light scratches and occasional mild scratch. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges but not spine splits or discoloration.

 

GOOD (G)

 Sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.

FAIR (F)

Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P)

Will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
