The monotony works out your muscles of industry. The primitive beats, the treated guitars and horns, the warped tapes of this and that, the haunting and sometimes abrasive synths, the clinical and treated vocals, the grounding punkish simplistic bass. 

The voice has been treated with some mixture of delay, phaser, and something else that I cannot pinpoint. It sounds wrong, as this voice describes to you tales of the violence and repetition of entertainment, matter-of-fact descriptions of the funky nature of your obsession. And, by the way, you've got an obsession. What is it? 

Tales of girls gone schizophrenic from religion and walls. Pretty girl, what a shame. The Cabs see a world of gas-belching and noise-blaring machines, media gone cyberpunk, primal urges meeting modern culture, religion as a tool to mentally enslave, and they see most pressingly a world of control. Bits of newspaper and radio knowledge float in the dazzled mind of an overloaded consumer, tv dots and radio white noise lending little in the way of real info. All garbled words and a mishmash of cutup images and sounds.
