This is a live Caribou double LP, released as Caribou Vibration Ensemble With Marshall Allen. Recorded live at the 2009 All Tomorrow's Parties event in upstate New York. A DVD of the entire performance is included. An unusually large Caribou live band led by Dan Snaith (Caribou, Manitoba) was joined by free jazz legend Marshall Allen and electronic artist Kieran Hebden (Four Tet). The record was self-released and available only at Caribou shows in a limited edition of 370. I bought it at a show in 2010.
I've played the record only once since purchasing it new and it's in great shape, except for a scratch on Side D during the track "A Final Warning." It pops for about 20 seconds of play but the record does not skip. Other than that the records are in VG++ to NM shape, with very slight buffing from the sleeves on Side A (does not affect play at all). The vinyl is thick - can't find official word on it but I'm betting it's 180 gram.
Beautiful gatefold sleeve is in NM shape.
The bonus DVD is included. There is some scratching on the DVD but it plays fine.
Records: VG+ (see above)
Sleeve: NM
